And many other neat things
The sight seeing has been awesome, and fortunately for us, the usually bad weather in the UK has been fairly moderate. Mostly in the low 40s and it held off raining on us until a light drizzle today. What's weird for me, is how little the sun is up during the day. Lately it comes up between 9 and 10 and sets by 4. Not to mention it's pretty gloomy during the day. I might have to start taking some supplemental vitamin d haha.
I only have one bone to pick with London. As everyone knows, people drive on the left side of the road in London. I figured that this would also be the case for how people walk on sidewalks and go up and down stairs and such. But, alas, it is not. London is such an international city with so many cultures and races that it seems like they can't really uniformly decide on which side to walk on. Whatever, I still give London an A.
Before I go, some food for thought:
We had an English breakfast this morning that consisted of sausage, bacon, beans, an egg, a tomato, and some coffee. It was spectacular.
Also we had tea this afternoon which I have to say was delightful. We had earl gray and orange oolong teas.
We take the chunnel to Brussels early tomorrow, so we're taking it easy at the hostel pub tonight.
